On the morning of Tuesday, May 20, Langevin will present on the topic, “Employment Law Demystified – How Employment Laws Impact the Real World You Live In.” Using a combination of lecture and mini-case studies, this overview of employment law will provide attendees with important legal basics, including real-world examples of how the law works in the workplace. That afternoon, St. Peter will participate in a panel moderated by Langevin titled, “Diversity in Practice – How Are We Doing?” This two-hour session will cover what is and isn’t working for legal employers who seek to increase diversity in their workforces, and why. A panel of attorneys with significant experience in and deep commitment to the success of diversity efforts will discuss best practices and overcoming barriers.
